Frequently Asked Questions:

I changed my preferred locale, but I still see some content in English. Why?

There are a few reasons you may see English content in Proxima, even after updating your preferred locale:

  • Translations may not be available yet. While we maintain and update content in all supported languages, there may sometimes be a delay due to resourcing constraints. As translations are completed, they're published automatically.

  • Previously created projects and assessments stay in their original language. When you start a new assessment (such as a PCT Assessment or ADKAR® Assessment), the language is set at the time of creation based on your preferred locale. If you change your locale later, any new assessments will reflect your updated preference, but previously created assessments will remain in the language they were started in.

Is user-generated content translated?

No. Proxima does not translate user-generated content. Any data you enter will always display in the language it was entered — including for collaborators or viewers of your project. So while the Proxima interface will appear in your preferred locale, the project data itself may appear in a different language if it was entered in one.

Should I switch my preferred locale back and forth?

We don't recommend it. Because assessments lock to the language they were created in, switching back and forth can cause a mixed-language experience and may impact your workflow. If you need to change your locale, we recommend setting it once and keeping it consistent going forward.

Can I share a Proxima project in multiple languages?

Not at this time. If you use the Public Links feature, the shared view-only version of your project will display in your preferred locale only.
