We are excited to announce three new resources for Prosci Members available to download from Knowledge Hub:
Leading for Change Success: Your Primary Sponsor Role
Leading for Change Success: Your Sponsor Coalition Member Role
Leading for Change Success: Your People Manager Role
These new Leading for Change Success Role Guides help practitioners engage and enable the change leaders on your projects, and include. Developed for primary sponsors, sponsor coalition members, and people managers, these guides provide a clear, structured way to strengthen change leadership and drive results.
These new guides can be accessed and downloaded from the Introduction to Leading Change and Applying the Prosci Methodology Application Resources in Knowledge Hub.
Who These Are For
These guides help you clarify expectations for sponsors, sponsor coalition members, and people managers, and strengthen how they work together to lead change. They clearly distinguish the roles of the Primary Sponsor and the Sponsor Coalition, making it easier to align leaders and activate a more coordinated system of change leadership.
Why We Built Them
Each guide builds on the traditional role definitions (ABCs and CLARC) by introducing 10 research-based best practices that define what effective role fulfillment looks like across the project lifecycle, linking each role to the specific behaviors that drive results.
These best practices are drawn from the Change Success Assessment and are structured as a self-assessment, so you can use the CSA as a comprehensive assessment or focus on specific contributors to success.
Most importantly, the guides help you establish a healthy, collaborative partnership with your change leaders β aligning on the support required and the right cadence of engagement. The goal is simple: give you a clear, structured way to engage leaders and strengthen the partnerships that drive adoption and results.
How to Use Them
Use these guides as a shared resource with your leaders to:
Orient leaders at the start of a change
Clarify expectations and role accountability
Identify and address gaps in effectiveness
Guide focused coaching conversations
Support reflection at key milestones
Please Note: These resources are available in English only at this time.
